Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- verify right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- One year of janitorial or porter experience in a casino or similar environment preferred
- knowledge of and experience using carpet cleaners, high-speed buffers, power washers, and marble polishers
- familiarity with procedures for maintaining various hard surfaces, waxing, and use of chemical cleaning agents
- ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Job Duties
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
- regularly clean high and low surfaces including signs, vents, and windows using ladders or high lifts (up to 25 feet)
- scrub, polish, disinfect, and wipe surfaces such as trash cans, sinks, toilets, urinals, furniture, and fixtures
- clean and maintain casino floor including vacuuming, removing debris from gaming tables, and cleaning ashtrays, glassware
- maintain and store cleaning equipment properly
- report repair needs to management
- utilize proper cleaning procedures and equipment to maintain hard floors and carpeting
- handle and dispose of biohazardous materials in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
- provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- perform other duties as assigned
