Job Description
Players Edge is a distinctive division specializing in providing supplemental staffing services that cater specifically to the gaming industry. They partner with a variety of casinos and card rooms to supply skilled gaming personnel who contribute to creating a superior gaming experience. As part of their commitment to excellence and professionalism, Players Edge strives to place qualified employees in dynamic and reputable gaming environments where regulatory adherence and customer satisfaction are paramount.
This role as a Players Edge employee involves working directly at table games within assigned casinos, where you will take on the responsibility of overseeing game integrity and adherence to established rules. As a key part of the gaming operation, your duties include sitting at games such as California style Blackjack or Three Card Poker, serving as an additional level of scrutiny above the dealer. Your role helps in confirming the accuracy of win and loss determinations, ensuring a fair and transparent gaming experience for all participants. This position demands not only sharp observation and strong math skills but also the capability to work under pressure during peak gaming hours.
Moreover, Players Edge offers an attractive hiring incentive for new employees who hold a valid Third-Party Proposition Player Services License Badge (TPPPS Worker License), granting a $1000 hiring bonus with applicable restrictions. The employment opportunities extend to various shifts, including graveyard and swing shifts, requiring flexibility and commitment from applicants. These shifts may include weekends and holidays, reflecting the casino industry's operational needs.
Working with Players Edge means becoming part of a facility that looks after its employees through a comprehensive benefits program. Employees can enjoy medical, dental, and vision plans, including an affordable PPO medical plan starting at just $10 per pay period. Additional benefits such as a generous 401(k) match, employee assistance programs, company-paid life insurance, employee recognition initiatives, paid time off, and paid sick leave are also available. Notably, a night shift differential provides an additional $2 per hour, recognizing the value of work performed during late hours.
This position highlights the importance of integrity, precision, and excellent customer service within a regulated gaming environment. Successful candidates will undergo a background check, must be at least 21 years of age, and will be required to apply for and maintain an appropriate gaming license issued by the Bureau of Gambling Control. Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and handle casino chips and equipment carefully. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere, and meet the licensing requirements, this role at Players Edge offers a rewarding opportunity to engage with an exciting industry while developing your professional career under supportive management and a structured benefits package.
