Job Requirements

  • education equivalent to a two year degree or related work experience
  • possession of alcohol beverage control card

Job Qualifications

  • two to five years experience in bar operations and managing personnel with a 2 year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • alcohol beverage control card and any applicable health certifications
  • ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience
  • commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities

Job Duties

  • assist with the development and managing of the budget for the beverage department
  • ensure the safety and security of employees and customers
  • supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels employment
  • delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • develop staff, conduct interviews, hires, and evaluates
  • manage department financial data
  • review beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager
  • monitor and adjust performance to local competition
  • meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary
  • perform other duties as assigned
