The Rio Vista Pool is seeking a Cashier/Pool Attendant to join its team for the 2026 operational season. The Cashier/Pool Attendant is responsible for managing front desk operations, which includes processing admissions, collecting fees, and providing courteous and accurate information to guests. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle monetary transactions efficiently and accurately. Beyond the cashier duties, the individual will help enforce pool rules, assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility, and support the pool staff in delivering a positive guest experience.
Operating from May 23 through early September, the position is seasonal and expects availability on weekdays and weekends during peak season with weekends only towards the end of the summer period. Job Duties
- Manage front desk operations to ensure a positive customer experience including handling admissions processing payments and providing accurate information to patrons
- Support safe and enjoyable pool use by assisting with rule enforcement and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area including decks restrooms and surrounding spaces to uphold health and safety standards
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute to continuous improvement of pool operations
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the overall success and safety of the facility
