Job Qualifications

- previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Provide customers with fast, friendly, and courteous service
- respond to customer questions or find answers
- greet and assist customers on the sales floor with eye contact and smiling
- walk the sales floor to straighten and organize as needed
- remove trash from sales floor
- operate the cash register and receive payment accurately
- ring up and bag items one at a time
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- keep area free of debris
- clean entire area before leaving
- follow safety guidelines and procedures
- clean up breakages or spills promptly
- report hazards or injuries to supervisor
- keep cash drawer closed until money exchange
- communicate courteously with the public
- report store issues or hazards to management
- communicate respectfully with fellow employees to inspire teamwork
- consistently balance cash drawer at the end of every shift without overage or shortage
