Cashiers are entrusted with processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, which include verifying identification, handling various forms of payment, responding to customer inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and bagging purchased products. They deliver exceptional service through personalized greetings, engaging with customers to build relationships, and sharing relevant product and service information. This role places a strong emphasis on product knowledge, especially surrounding wine, spirits, and beer, with ongoing training to ensure team members are knowledgeable and confident.

Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store is paramount, alongside strict compliance with all laws and regulations related to alcohol sales. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Walk bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
  • Ability to safely lift load and handle cases and pallets
  • Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
  • May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset
  • 1-3 years of work experience 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
