As a Cashier at Total Wine & More, you will be an essential member of the front-end team, responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service that enhances the customer's shopping experience. Your primary role will involve processing sales transactions efficiently, handling payments, verifying identification, and attending to customer inquiries with a professional and courteous attitude. In addition to standard cashier duties, you may also undertake responsibilities as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate depending on the needs of the store. This position is available in both part-time and full-time capacities, allowing for flexibility to accommodate different schedules, including evenings and weekends. You will receive comprehensive training in the sale of wine, spirits, and beer to build your product knowledge, enabling you to provide personalized recommendations and contribute to an engaging customer experience. Staying informed about current promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs will also be an important part of your responsibilities.

In addition to customer interaction, you will be expected to maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store, ensuring a pleasant and orderly shopping environment. The role requires adherence to all legal requirements related to alcohol sales, including age verification and compliance with laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.
