The current opportunity is for full-time Cashier positions located at the UPS-NASC facility on 911 Grade Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. This role operates primarily in the late evening to early morning hours, from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with days possibly varying to align with business needs. Eurest welcomes applicants with no prior experience, as comprehensive training will be provided to prepare candidates adequately for the position. The pay rate for this role is competitive at $20.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to valuing and rewarding its employees fairly.

As a Cashier at Eurest, your main responsibilities will involve performing cashiering duties including managing cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, providing accurate change, handling various forms of payment, and completing cash reports. You will also be involved in general food service operations, ensuring that sanitation and service standards are consistently met. This includes maintaining cleanliness in preparation and dining areas, replenishing supplies such as condiments and beverages, and keeping product displays like pastry cases well stocked. Interaction with customers is a key element of this role, requiring friendly and professional communication to address and resolve any customer concerns effectively.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
  • Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate recording
  • Make change, accept declining balance cards and other payment methods
  • Issue receipts to customers and follow standard refund procedures
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring compliance with cash drawer standards
  • Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness
  • Keep pastry case stocked and ensure compliance with service standards
  • Adhere to sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
