This full-time Cashier position is available at the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital location in San Antonio, Texas. Job Requirements

- Ability to work full time from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with varied days
- Must be able to work weekends
- Ability to perform essential cashier functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with cash registers or point of sale systems preferred
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and courteously
Job Duties
- Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- Enter all sales into the cash register accurately
- Make change and accept various forms of payment including declining balance cards
- Issue receipts and process cash refunds according to standard procedures
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards
- Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness
- Stock pastry case and ensure compliance with company service and cash control standards
- Adhere to all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- Perform other general food service duties as assigned
