Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, standing as a beloved destination where kids can eat, play, and create joyful, lasting memories. The company emphasizes safety through programs like Kid Check and has a strong community presence, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Peter Piper Pizza complements the family dining experience with a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere that combines quality food and engaging entertainment. Both brands focus on fostering physical wellness and developing motor skills in children through a variety of attractions and play activities. CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, underscoring the company’s extensive reach and impact in the family entertainment sector.

As an employer, CEC Entertainment is passionate about building careers around great food, family, and fun. The company offers a dynamic workplace environment where Cast Members gain valuable skills through cross-training in various roles, contributing to exceptional guest experiences. The role of Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese positions individuals at the forefront of guest service. Cashiers are responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prize redemption, and creating a welcoming environment for families and children. This position requires excellent customer service skills, an enthusiastic and energetic personality, and the ability to work various shifts. Physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Work also involves adapting to a lively environment with flashing lights, mechanical sounds, and occasional loud noise.

All team members have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage and additional voluntary benefits, while full-time employees working an average of 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.

CEC Entertainment is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company values and celebrates the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of its workforce and guests. The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law.
