Now Hiring Cashiers: At Chuck E. Cheese, cashiers serve as the frontline of guest service. They take orders, process payments, assist guests with prizes, and contribute to delivering an exceptional experience. This role is perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Cast members are empowered through cross-training in various positions, fostering skill development and career advancement, with over 60% of managers promoted from within the company.
This position offers a unique pay structure with a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees access to earned wages without the usual wait between paychecks. Commission opportunities include earning between $0.50 and $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold for exempt employees; non-exempt employees enjoy commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly unless otherwise required by state law.
Cashiers must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent customer service skills. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, squat, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
