Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. Proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, CEC Entertainment offers a unique and enjoyable experience for families and children. The company is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through the combination of fun, food, and play. Every year, Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays, embodying their family-friendly mission as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid." The organization prioritizes safety through programs such as Kid Check® and actively supports communities through donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The brand has been recognized for its excellence in innovation and employee well-being, receiving the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces.

Peter Piper Pizza complements this family dining experience by offering a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere with quality food, engaging entertainment, and cherished memories, operating under the philosophy "The Fun is Baked In." The company encourages play through various attractions designed to support physical wellness and develop motor skills in children. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment and its franchisees have built a strong and diverse community focus centered around family fun and engagement.

The open position is for Cashiers who will serve as the frontline of guest service within Chuck E. Cheese locations. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers looking for an engaging work environment or individuals seeking to build a long-term career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Cashiers play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service by taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances guest experiences.

The company offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $15.13, along with commission opportunities varying based on employment status. Exempt employees can earn commissions from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, with payments made bi-weekly. Non-exempt employees have commission potentials ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Pass sales, also paid bi-weekly according to state regulations.

CEC Entertainment supports its employees with the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enabling team members to access earned wages sooner and improve financial flexibility. This program, alongside extensive training, ensures that cast members are cross-trained across various positions to maximize skill acquisition and career development. Management opportunities are highlighted by the fact that over 60% of managers have been promoted from within, reflecting the company’s commitment to internal growth and professional advancement.

Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide support, security, and work-life balance. Benefits include telemedicine access, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may qualify for fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees who work on average 29.5 or more hours per week are eligible for a broader range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, as well as educational and student loan assistance programs.
