Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, delivering memorable experiences centered around great food, family, and fun. Each year, Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays, creating joyful and lasting memories through a unique blend of food, entertainment, and play. The company is committed to safety with initiatives like Kid Check® and actively supports communities by donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recently, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, reflecting its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this family entertainment approach by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food and engaging entertainment, where "The Fun is Baked In." Together, these brands foster environments that promote physical wellness and the development of motor skills in children through interactive attractions. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment maintains a strong presence in the family dining industry and cultivates a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun.
The Cashier role at Chuck E. Cheese represents the frontline of guest service and is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those seeking to build an exciting career in family entertainment. Cashiers are responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting guests with prizes, and ensuring a friendly and efficient experience for every visitor. This role encourages cross-training in various positions, empowering employees to deliver exceptional service. More than 60% of the company's managers have been promoted from within, highlighting the strong career growth potential available to motivated individuals.
The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $17.00, with additional commission-based earning opportunities for the sale of memberships and Fun Passes. Chuck E. Cheese also offers an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees faster access to earned wages. Benefits include flexible scheduling, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, perks and discounts, an employee referral program, and a CEC Cares Fund to support employees during emergencies.
The work environment involves standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting, with the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to handle sensory aspects such as flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises while maintaining interaction with guests and co-workers. CEC Entertainment prioritizes health and safety, adhering to rigorous sanitation protocols to protect both employees and guests.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a workplace where all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are valued. The company does not discriminate based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other federally or locally protected class.
