Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a professional, friendly and family oriented way before, during and after the meal period
  • Be punctual to begin your work
  • Wear proper uniform and name badge at all times
  • Maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times
  • Greet all arriving guests warmly and promptly
  • Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
  • Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
  • Record guest names and provide estimated waiting times when seating is limited
  • Call out name and number of party when tables become available
  • Offer guests a menu and inspect table for proper presentation upon seating
  • Relay messages to servers as needed
  • Maintain clean entrance, lobby, dining room, and restrooms
  • Assist servers in maintaining and stocking service stations
  • Transport bus tubs with dirty dishes to dish room if needed
  • Clean and reset tables promptly
  • Clean chairs, booths, and surrounding carpet
  • Take food and beverage orders for take out service and enter orders in point-of-sale system
  • Process payments correctly and efficiently
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by management
