We are currently seeking energetic and friendly Cashiers to join our team at BOTH Inc Golden Corral. This role offers both part-time and full-time employment opportunities with flexible AM and PM shifts to accommodate various schedules. Cashiers at Golden Corral play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience, acting as the first and last point of contact as guests enter and leave the restaurant. This position does not require previous experience as comprehensive training will be provided. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting guests with a warm and sincere welcome, providing assistance when needed such as seating guests during busy periods, and efficiently processing food orders including internet and phone orders for curbside pickup. You will manage transactions accurately and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the daily buffet selections, menu items, and pricing to assist guests effectively. Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, vestibule, and surrounding areas is an essential part of this role, alongside supporting the buffet setup and following local health and safety regulations precisely.

Your responsibilities will also include operational procedures related to cash handling such as regularly securing money in the safe to reduce robbery risks and ensuring that cash drawer balances with the daily paperwork. The role requires standing and walking for 3 to 4 hours at a time without rest, moderate lifting and carrying of weights up to 35 pounds, bending, and reaching. Use of tools such as cash registers and drink dispensers necessitates a strong grip and dexterity.
