Daily responsibilities entail operating the POS system accurately to manage cash and other payment types for various transactions such as credit cards, manufacturer coupons, vendor checks, alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fast-food sales while strictly adhering to company policies. The associate will also be responsible for checking identification for regulated products and actively participating in all sales promotions and campaigns. Suggestive selling techniques are encouraged to build lasting customer relationships and contribute to achieving sales goals.

Beyond customer interactions, the role involves rigorous attention to store cleanliness and safety, ensuring that the premises are free of litter and spills, equipment is sanitized and operational, and restrooms are regularly spot-checked and restocked. Employees are also tasked with sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning fuel delivery areas including pumps, and organizing backroom supplies.
