Job Duties

  • Greet new and returning guests on every visit
  • Know all menu items to make food suggestions and answer questions
  • Verify accuracy of each guest order, manage takeout orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
  • Operate the cash register, count money and provide correct change
  • Balance the cash drawer before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortages or overages
  • Assist with frontline food preparation tasks such as packaging and delivering orders to tables
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing fast, efficient service and quality products
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a busy restaurant environment
  • Follow and respect all safety rules, policies and procedures
