The role of Caregiver/Resident Assistant at Legend Senior Living is pivotal in ensuring the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents. This position involves assisting residents with their daily activities including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and social interactions. Caregivers are responsible for monitoring physical and emotional well-being, documenting care provided, and communicating important information to health care staff. Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies and drug screening as needed
- Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly residents
- Basic understanding of personal care and hygiene practices

Job Duties
- Assisting with the daily care of the residents including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
- Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
- Documenting completed tasks such as daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
- Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff such as urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
- Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
