Job Description
Krista Care is a compassionate and growing home care agency dedicated to providing non-medical support to elderly clients, individuals recovering from illness or injury, and those living with disabilities or needing assistance with daily life. The agency understands that caregiving is real work that deeply matters, and it is committed to delivering care that respects the dignity and independence of each client while meeting their unique needs. Krista Care stands out in the home care industry by fostering a supportive and respectful environment for both clients and caregivers alike. It prides itself on building long-term, trusting relationships within the community it serves, emphasizing personalized care that enhances the quality of life for its clients.
As a caregiver at Krista Care, you become part of a dedicated team that values your passion for helping others. This is an ideal opportunity for those who may not have prior professional caregiving experience but have a genuine desire to support people with compassion, patience, and warmth. Krista Care believes that caregiving skills can be developed and offers ongoing training and support to help you grow in this rewarding role. The agency also understands the practical needs of its caregivers and offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay starting at $19.00 per hour, and benefits tailored to support your well-being and work-life balance.
In this non-medical caregiver role, you will assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation—all vital to helping them maintain their independence and dignity. You will provide medication reminders, companionship, and emotional support, along with light housekeeping duties to ensure the client’s home environment remains safe and clean. Krista Care emphasizes that caregivers do not administer medication or perform any nursing tasks, highlighting the non-medical nature of the work. With shifts ranging from 4 hours and the option to work up to 6 days a week, you can find a schedule that fits comfortably with your lifestyle.
Krista Care invests in the success of its caregivers by covering essential start-up costs such as TB testing and reimbursing Live Scan and Home Care Aide (HCA) registration fees once caregivers are established. The agency also offers language skills as an asset, encouraging bilingual caregivers to apply as many clients request support in Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and more. Recognition and rewards are given to caregivers in good standing through bonuses and preferential scheduling opportunities to motivate and appreciate their dedication.
Overall, Krista Care provides a welcoming, flexible, and supportive work environment designed to empower caregivers to deliver high-quality non-medical home care while growing professionally. This opportunity is perfect for compassionate individuals looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while enjoying steady employment and benefits in a reputable agency.
