The role of Caregiver at HomeCentris involves providing essential assistance with daily activities, personal care, and companionship in clients' homes. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others and has excellent communication skills. Caregivers will assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility to support clients’ independence and comfort. The position also includes providing medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation as needed. Caregivers are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of the care provided, ensuring all client interactions and observations are professionally recorded. The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential, and bilingual communication with Spanish-speaking clients is an added advantage. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred
Fluent in English with strong communication skills
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background checks

Job Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management according to care plans
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks following dietary preferences and restrictions
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, and tidying living spaces
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, recreational and cultural activities
Communicate effectively with clients and their families in English and Spanish to ensure care needs are understood
Escort clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities using reliable transportation
Maintain accurate records of care provided including daily activity logs and medication administration
