Parkwest Casino is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Server to join its hospitality team. Job Requirements

Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for six or more hours a day
Must handle repetitive hand movements including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling and reaching
May be exposed to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and environmental extremes
Must perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
Open availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be at least 21 years old for gaming servers and bartenders
Ability to work well within a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Experience in hospitality or customer service environments is a plus

Job Duties

Be fully knowledgeable of the menu to inform customers of daily specials, answer questions and make recommendations
Write customers' food orders on order slips and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
Provide exceptional guest service to meet and exceed expectations
Roll silverware, set up and prepare for next shift, buss tables after customers have finished dining
Build positive rapport with guests to enhance their experience
Work cooperatively with team members and maintain an upbeat attitude during shifts
Display a positive and can-do attitude to contribute to overall service quality
