Job Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- board certified or eligible in cardiology
- able to read EKGs
- able or willing to train in Holter and event monitors
- able or willing to train in echocardiography
- able or willing to train in all stress test modalities
- able or willing to train in nuclear cardiac imaging
- willing to work full-time
- able to manage approximately 30 patients per day
- capable of using Cerner EMR
- no call coverage
- ready to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Job Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in cardiology
- proficiency in EKG interpretation
- experience with Holter and event monitoring
- skills in echocardiography
- familiarity with various stress test modalities
- knowledge of nuclear cardiac imaging or willingness to train
- ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- U.S. citizenship
Job Duties
- Provide outpatient and inpatient rounding
- utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation
- interpret EKGs, Holter and event monitors, echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear cardiac imaging
- collaborate with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and physician assistants
- manage approximately 30 patients per day
- participate in shared use of cardiac diagnostic and procedural equipment
- engage with the onsite cardiac rehab and therapy programs
