Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizen
  • board certified or eligible in cardiology
  • able to read EKGs
  • able or willing to train in Holter and event monitors
  • able or willing to train in echocardiography
  • able or willing to train in all stress test modalities
  • able or willing to train in nuclear cardiac imaging
  • willing to work full-time
  • able to manage approximately 30 patients per day
  • capable of using Cerner EMR
  • no call coverage
  • ready to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings

Job Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in cardiology
  • proficiency in EKG interpretation
  • experience with Holter and event monitoring
  • skills in echocardiography
  • familiarity with various stress test modalities
  • knowledge of nuclear cardiac imaging or willingness to train
  • ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • U.S. citizenship

Job Duties

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient rounding
  • utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation
  • interpret EKGs, Holter and event monitors, echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear cardiac imaging
  • collaborate with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and physician assistants
  • manage approximately 30 patients per day
  • participate in shared use of cardiac diagnostic and procedural equipment
  • engage with the onsite cardiac rehab and therapy programs
