We are currently seeking experienced Captain Servers to join our distinguished team. This full-time position offers a four-day work week to provide a healthy work-life balance, with part-time schedules also available. Candidates should possess strong spirits, wine, and wine service knowledge, as well as the ability to pass a rigorous wine exam. Sommelier certification is preferred, as is prior experience in a captain role within a fine-dining restaurant environment. At Commander\'s Palace, the Captain Server role is critical in overseeing a service team, including front and back servers, to deliver an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. The position demands leadership, attention to detail, exemplary wine and food knowledge, and outstanding communication skills to ensure every guest enjoys an impeccable dining journey.

We offer a competitive training wage starting at $15 per hour, with the potential to earn between $29 and $41 per hour including tips upon completion of training. Captains play an essential role in guiding their teams, executing all service standards, managing guest interactions, and maintaining superior knowledge of wines, menus, and daily specials. The role requires timely and efficient management of various duties such as pre-meal preparations, team coordination during service, order accuracy, gang seating participation, and ensuring refined dessert and wine service. Captains also help uphold the restaurant\'s culture of exceptional hospitality and customer satisfaction, addressing guest feedback promptly and skillfully.
