Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to perform physical tasks required for housekeeping duties
willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
strong communication skills
adherence to safety protocols including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment
customer service orientation
ability to work effectively under supervision

Job Qualifications

Ability to perform physical and repetitious tasks including pushing, pulling, lifting and gripping
previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred but not required
ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs

Job Duties

Works with chemicals in accordance with all safety guidelines listed on the safety data sheets (SDS)
uses cleaning equipment in accordance with the departmental safety guidelines
utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
cleans and maintains all areas of guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, removing dirty linen, replacing guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors
completes guest-room task assignments daily
responds to guest requests and inquiries
reports maintenance issues
collects and labels lost and found items
responds to the requests of team leaders
provides guest service according to Six Flags standards including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions
