The per diem covers lodging at $110 and meals at $68 daily. The pay scale is divided into four levels: Level 1 ($25-$30/hr), Level 2 ($30-$35/hr), Level 3 ($35-$44/hr), and Level 4 ($45-$50/hr). As a Calibration Technician within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of complex instrumentation used in manufacturing and laboratory environments that operate under strict GxP (Good Practice) regulations. Your responsibilities will include performing calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment such as pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, and pH instruments. Accurate and timely documentation that complies with FDA regulations and site-specific policies is essential to this role.

Your expertise will also be needed for troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation to support uninterrupted manufacturing and laboratory operations. Managing equipment and test standards with strict adherence to NIST traceability standards and proper substitution protocols will be part of your duties. Safety will remain top priority, as you identify and report any potential safety issues onsite while maintaining a professionally organized work environment.

You will collaborate closely with client personnel, offering technical solutions and seeking opportunities that add value to the business. The role requires proficiency in utilizing Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and document all scheduled maintenance events effectively. Ideal candidates will possess a solid background working within highly regulated Quality Systems, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences settings.

In terms of skill sets, candidates should have a deep understanding of process control loops, testing accuracy ratios (TAR), traceability, and uncertainty analysis. Experience working with laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, and balances is highly desirable. Physical capabilities include the ability to climb stairs, work on elevated equipment like tanks, and perform moderate to heavy lifting tasks.

This role represents an excellent career opportunity for those looking for a clear career progression path with multiple seniority levels and opportunities for advancement within a leading technical services firm. Candidates will gain exposure to diverse, advanced analytical and manufacturing instrumentation in a supportive team environment that values honesty, integrity, and technical excellence. The organization fosters a culture of continuous learning and technical pride, making it an ideal workplace for professionals passionate about metrology and regulatory compliance.

If you are interested in contributing your skills and expertise to this vital role and want to join a reputable company with a commitment to employee wellbeing and professional growth, we encourage you to apply. A recruiter will contact you to discuss this exciting opportunity in further detail.
