Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work full-time including mid-shift and closing shifts
- Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli or bakery food preparation helpful
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing excellent customer service
- Move incoming merchandise from receiving to the sales floor promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of deli and bakery areas ensuring food safety standards
- Follow all health and safety protocols strictly
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support team members and participate in training as needed
