The Cake and Cookie Decorator role at Leila Bakery offers an exciting opportunity to join a lively and passionate pastry team. Starting compensation begins at $17.00 per hour, based on experience, with the potential for twice-annual merit bonuses. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery or culinary environment
  • Cake and cookie decorating experience
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and culinary skills
  • Ability to follow a recipe accurately
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of cakes and cookies

  • Operate and maintain baking equipment safely
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient bakery operations
