Among its many departments, DISD includes a robust food service program dedicated to ensuring that students have access to nutritious, balanced meals that support their health and academic success. The district upholds strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, emphasizing food safety, quality, and accountability in its cafeterias across elementary, middle, and high schools. It is widely recognized for its dedication to fostering well-rounded student development by addressing nutritional needs as a fundamental component of overall student wellness.

The role of Cafeteria Supervisor at Casa View Elementary, located at 2100 North Farola Drive in Dallas, is a full-time, day-shift position designed to manage and oversee cafeteria operations for an elementary school setting. With a minimum annual salary starting at $39,342, this position plays a crucial role in the implementation of the school district's food service program. The supervisor ensures that all meals served to students are not only nutritious and balanced but also prepared and delivered according to standardized recipes and menu instructions. This role involves supervising and training cafeteria staff, managing food and supply requisitions, and maintaining stringent health and safety standards to protect both staff and students. This role is integral to creating a positive dining environment that supports the school's educational mission by promoting healthy eating habits among students. Overall, this position is ideal for candidates with experience in food service management, a thorough understanding of safety and sanitation standards, and a passion for serving the needs of young students in the educational community.
