We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Dining Room Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for service, attention to detail, and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for preparing the dining area before patrons arrive by thoroughly cleaning tables and setting up decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. They play a critical role in protecting both the establishment and patrons by strictly adhering to sanitation and safety policies, which is essential in maintaining a safe and hygienic dining environment.

In addition, the Dining Room Attendant is tasked with maintaining the menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, cleaning chalkboards, and lettering specials on the chalkboards to attract customer attention. They ensure the table setting is properly maintained throughout service by removing courses promptly as they are completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to any patron spills or special needs. Supporting the wait staff is also a key function of the role, involving the setup and replenishment of condiment stands, trash container liners, and bus stations.

The position also involves closing responsibilities such as cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables from the facility to ensure the dining room is ready for the next day. This role offers valuable opportunities for learning and growth, with participation in staff training sessions to update job knowledge and enhance professional skills.

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $10.00 to $23.00 per hour with shifts available in the evening and night. Previous experience in restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory for motivated individuals willing to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
