The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is vital to ensuring an exceptional guest experience through efficient and attentive service support. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the unseen force that supports the waitstaff and maintains the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. Adhering to food safety and cleanliness standards is critical in this role, as is the physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, lift up to 30 pounds, and multitask efficiently. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capacity to stand for an 8-12 hour shift
  • ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest at the restaurant with a smile
  • prepare the station for the shift
  • ensure silverware and condiments are on the table
  • refill drinks and remove used plates and glassware
  • deliver hot food to guests when ready in the hallway
  • provide assistance to servers with guests as needed
  • follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • clear dishes from tables, reset the table, clean seats and floors
  • communicate table availability
  • separate items in the sink area
