The role of a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is integral to the restaurant’s smooth operation and guest satisfaction. As a Busser/Runner, you will act as the ambassador for hospitality by greeting every guest with a warm smile and ensuring their dining environment is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Your responsibilities include setting up your station for the shift, making sure each table has the proper silverware and condiments, and assisting servers by refilling drinks and pre-bussing tables to maintain a timely turnover. You will also run hot food from the kitchen to tables promptly and handle clearing and resetting tables efficiently. Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout your area is essential to the role.

Physical stamina and teamwork are key to success as a Busser/Runner. The job requires the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds while staying active and on your feet for shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and effective communication skills are crucial for coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow all food safety standards
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and handle multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
