Job Description

Bocage Racquet Club is a premier private tennis club dedicated to providing its members, their families, and guests with an exceptional club experience. Located in a vibrant community, Bocage Racquet Club combines upscale amenities such as multiple pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a luxurious pool, and fine dining in a welcoming and social atmosphere. The club is committed to continuously improving its services while maintaining a strong focus on staff engagement and satisfaction. This approach helps Bocage cultivate a high-performing culture that advances the club’s mission and meets the evolving needs of its stockholders and members.

As a valued member of the Bocage Racquet Club team, employees have the opportunity to work in an environment designed to foster both personal and professional growth. The club emphasizes the importance of talent, attitude, and service excellence, directly impacting the overall member experience. Bocage is more than just a tennis club — it’s a vibrant setting that celebrates community, wellness, and camaraderie while encouraging its staff to bring out their best qualities, both at work and at home.

The club is currently seeking bussers and food runners who are available to work 2-3 shifts per week, primarily Monday through Friday from 5pm to 10pm, with occasional weekend shifts to cover special events. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient dining operations while contributing to the overall member experience. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bussers and food runners at Bocage Racquet Club play a key role in supporting front-of-house operations by attending to the cleanliness of dining areas, assisting food service staff in timely delivery of meals, and helping create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to executing their duties, these professionals are expected to uphold the club’s standards of professionalism, appearance, and conduct, contributing to the premium environment Bocage offers.

The ideal candidate is organized, capable of thinking and acting quickly and effectively under pressure while maintaining composure, and possesses excellent communication skills. They should be enthusiastic, eager to learn the club’s established procedures, menu items, and side work duties, ensuring seamless service throughout each shift. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on business needs is essential, as is adherence to the club’s uniform policy.

Working at Bocage Racquet Club provides individuals with the chance to be part of an exclusive club community while developing skills in hospitality and customer service. Team members benefit from a collaborative work culture focused on recognition and mutual respect, making each shift an opportunity to build valuable experience and meaningful connections within the club and community.
