Job Description

Crystal Mountain is the premier mountain resort destination located in Washington, known as the largest ski resort in the state. It offers an unparalleled outdoor experience, surrounded by the natural beauty of the National Forest and the breathtaking views of neighboring Mount Rainier. As part of the Alterra Mountain Company, Crystal Mountain is connected to a family of world-renowned mountain destinations, providing access to the best in mountain adventure and guest services. This vibrant resort caters to skiers, snowboarders, and summer adventurers alike, making it a year-round destination that celebrates both the thrill of the mountains and the community it fosters. Crystal Mountain's culture is deeply rooted in a passion for the outdoors, delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences that are inspired by the majestic terrain and friendly spirit of the region.

The Busser position at Crystal Mountain plays a crucial role within the Food and Beverage department, supporting the wait staff and bartenders to ensure an outstanding dining experience for guests. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas by efficiently clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables according to established service standards. Bussers assist in transporting used dishes, glassware, and utensils to washing areas and help restock supplies such as napkins and silverware to maintain smooth operations in the dining room. While not the primary point of service, bussers contribute significantly to guest satisfaction by ensuring a neat and welcoming dining environment, supporting servers to focus on timely and exceptional food and beverage delivery.

This seasonal role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $17.13 plus tips and provides a wide array of employee perks that make working at Crystal Mountain highly rewarding. Among the benefits are free unlimited Alterra season passes for employees and their immediate family, significant discounts on lift tickets, ski and snowboard lessons, rentals, and gear tune-ups. Employees also enjoy exclusive access to mountain destinations during their time off, special event nights, and the opportunity to utilize ski referral letters at other resorts. Additional benefits include employee housing availability, accrued paid time off, group health insurance for eligible positions, 401K retirement plans with company match, and various discount marketplace deals covering a broad spectrum of lifestyle needs.

Joining Crystal Mountain means becoming part of a team that embraces empowerment, authenticity, collaboration, and a shared purpose. It is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to immerse themselves in a lively mountain community, pursue a passion for outdoor adventure, and grow their career within the ski industry or hospitality services. The resort encourages applications from motivated, energetic team players who are ready to contribute to an exceptional guest experience while enjoying the mountain lifestyle.
