Job Description

The hiring establishment is part of a community-focused dining service provider dedicated to creating an exceptional dining experience for residents. This organization is well-regarded for its commitment to quality food service and customer satisfaction in a community setting. As a part-time associate working approximately 20-29 hours per week, you will be offered full supplemental benefits including dental and vision plans. The company values flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude among its staff, making it a supportive environment for individuals looking to grow their hospitality skills while contributing to a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere.

The role of Dining Room Attendant/Busser is integral to ensuring smooth dining room operations and a positive customer experience. Positioned at the forefront of resident interaction, the attendant acts as both front-of-house and back-of-house support, playing a key role in the dining program. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 pounds safely. Priority is given to those with a high school diploma or equivalent, outstanding interpersonal skills, and preferably some prior experience in food and beverage service. Organizational ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are also highly valued.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00, paid bi-weekly, with a varied schedule to accommodate the dynamic nature of dining services in a community setting. In addition to a meaningful role that impacts the resident experience directly, employees enjoy a supportive work environment and the chance to develop their skills as part of a dedicated team. The role also involves helping maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area, effectively communicating with kitchen staff, and contributing to overall operational excellence.

Interested candidates should note the physical nature of the role which might involve standing, walking, occasional climbing, and working in different environmental conditions including wind, heat, cold, and rain. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities and promotes an inclusive recruitment process. The role also involves use of an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) to help in fair and objective candidate evaluations based on relevant skills and competencies.

Overall, this opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality who enjoy working in vibrant, community-oriented environments and want to play a positive role in resident dining experiences.
