Job Description

The hiring organization is a community-focused residential services provider, dedicated to enhancing the living experience of its residents through excellent hospitality and dining services. This establishment operates as a vibrant, supportive community where the quality of life and resident satisfaction are paramount. As part of their commitment to top-tier service, the organization maintains a skilled and courteous dining services team that plays an essential role in resident interaction and daily life. Catering to a diverse resident population, the community emphasizes personalized and attentive services in its dining facilities. This ensures that every dining experience is comfortable, enjoyable, and tailored to meet individual needs and preferences.

The role of Dining Room Attendant/Busser is both dynamic and integral to the seamless operation of the community’s dining program. This position involves being at the forefront of resident interaction within the dining areas and requires a flexible, proactive individual keen on supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for preparing dining spaces by setting tables, assuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies before service begins. The role further involves clearing and resetting tables efficiently, delivering food to residents promptly, and assisting wait staff and bartenders to ensure that residents' dining experiences are smooth and enjoyable. Exemplifying excellent communication skills and a positive attitude is fundamental to this role, as well as the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of service.

This is a part-time, non-exempt role requiring 20 to 29 hours per week, with a competitive hourly wage of $15.00 and paid bi-weekly. Employees in this role are eligible for full supplemental benefits, including dental and vision coverage, making it an attractive opportunity for candidates seeking flexible employment within a service-oriented community. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely, stand for long periods, and navigate various environmental conditions effectively. Above all, the position values team players who are self-starters and enjoy contributing to a positive and fun work atmosphere. The Dining Room Attendant/Busser is a critical link between the dining services and residents, ensuring quality, hospitality, and a welcoming dining environment are maintained at all times.
