Job Requirements

  • must have previous hospitality experience
  • must have previous busser experience
  • must have experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge environment
  • ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • capable of working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • must have or be willing to obtain a food handling certificate

Job Duties

  • maintain professional appearance standards as directed by the employee handbook
  • anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests
  • maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of tables
  • communicate the needs of guests to front-of-house and heart-of-house staff, servers, managers and chefs
  • deliver, fill, and refill water as requested by guests or directed by servers
  • clear and reset tables, clean table areas including banquettes during service
  • help ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service
  • maintain general cleanliness of stations and entire venue
  • comply with department of health and company sanitation standards
  • properly set up floor and side stations and perform side work and opening and closing procedures as directed by management
  • participate in marking tables for upcoming courses when available
  • report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
  • attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings
  • attend and participate in training sessions and departmental meetings
  • learn by observing and sharing knowledge while leading by example
  • portray a positive and professional attitude
  • demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners
  • work as part of a team and provide support to all fellow team members
