Dedicated to upholding its brand reputation, MH Restaurants focus on ethical business practices, continuous training, and providing employees with a clear path of development within the company.
The Busser position at MH Restaurants offers an opportunity to be an essential part of the front-of-house team, directly impacting guest experience. This is an hourly role starting at $7.25 plus tips, designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and maintaining an inviting and efficient dining environment. After one year of service and working an average of 30 hours per week, employees become eligible for benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, short and long-term disability benefits, and a 401K plan. In this role, Bussers act as the first line of contact for guests upon arrival and throughout their dining experience. They are responsible for delivering condiments and table accompaniments, providing beverage refills, clearing used tableware between courses, and resetting tables promptly after guests leave. Attention to detail and awareness of the dining room's flow allow Bussers to anticipate guest needs and support servers effectively, especially during peak hours or large parties. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor dining areas, including restrooms, and requires cross-training with other positions to develop a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations. Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to quality guest service are critical in this role. MH Restaurants look for dependable team players who adhere to company policies, represent the brand with integrity, and contribute to a friendly and professional dining atmosphere. Whether assisting with food delivery or responding to special guest needs, the Busser role is vital in creating seamless, enjoyable dining experiences and supporting the broader goals of the restaurant team.
