Delaware North's Patina Group is currently hiring part-time Bussers to join the team at Banners Kitchen and Tap in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is an ideal fit for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering excellent guest service. As a Busser, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, removing dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses between courses and after guests depart, and resetting tables accurately based on the floor plan or management instructions. The position is tipped and offers a starting hourly pay of $10.00, with potential additional tipped earnings. Shift schedules include days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends, requiring flexibility to work nights, holidays, and every weekend. The ideal candidate for the Busser position will have experience or training in a similar style of dining environment, excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to respond quickly to changing restaurant needs. While a high school diploma or GED is not required, candidates must be physically capable of handling the demands of the role, which include lifting trays up to 35 pounds, constant standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering around tables and corners. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions constantly
  • Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Experience or training as a runner or busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume preferred

Job Duties

  • Check in with management for daily assignments and attend pre-shift briefing
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room
  • Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart
  • Reset tables once guests leave, according to the floor plan or instructions from management
  • Assist in counting china, glass, silver, and linen
