We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our support staff as a busser. This role is fundamental in enhancing the overall efficiency of our restaurant by assisting the service staff in maintaining a pristine dining area throughout each service period. The busser plays a pivotal part in clearing and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and ensuring a continuous, seamless flow in the restaurant’s daily operations. The busser role involves active presence on the dining room floor during lunch service and at the polishing station during dinner hours. This position supports servers by cleaning up after guests promptly, resetting tables to a high standard, and handling re-plating under server direction. It is important to note that busser staff are distinct from server assistants; bussers do not interact directly with guests but focus entirely on maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the restaurant space. They are essential members of the support team, crucial for both guest experience and the efficiency of other front-of-house staff. The position requires a friendly demeanor, basic knowledge of customer service, and resilience to work in a fast-tempo environment while maintaining professionalism. Bussers must be able to sustain prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts that can last between 8 to 10 hours. The ability to perform additional related tasks as assigned by management is also essential, reflecting the flexible and team-oriented nature of the role. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Must be able to lift plates from table waist level up to 20 lbs, approximately 20 feet sometimes involving stairs
