We are currently hiring part-time Service Assistants to join our team at our Mission Viejo location. This position offers hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $18.90 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to jumpstart or continue a career in the hospitality industry. As a Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both our dine-in and takeout operations. You will be the backbone of the guest experience, assisting with everything from greeting and guiding customers through the menu to handling takeout and catering orders efficiently. Your responsibilities will include ensuring order accuracy at pickup and delivery points, as well as facilitating smooth communication between guests and kitchen staff.

In this role, your day-to-day tasks will involve clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, bussing dishes to the kitchen, and resetting tables to maintain an inviting dining environment. You will also manage bus tubs at the bar, keep station areas stocked and clean, and understand the intricacies of server sections and restaurant layout to deliver food and beverages effectively. Your ability to multitask and adapt quickly during busy hours will contribute greatly to the success of the team.

Additionally, you will support catering efforts and delivery operations as needed, operate kitchen machinery such as coffee and iced tea machines, lemon slicers, and the point-of-sale system, and most importantly, provide outstanding hospitality by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations. Previous restaurant experience is not mandatory as comprehensive training is provided, but a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to sanitation and safety procedures are essential. If you don’t currently have a Food Handler's Card, P.F. Chang's will assist you in obtaining one where applicable.
