We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Busser to join our front-of-house team. This role is essential in supporting our servers and other service staff to provide prompt, courteous, and seamless service to all restaurant guests. The Busser reports to the manager or designated supervisor and must be punctual by adhering to the scheduled work shifts while wearing the correct uniform. Attention to personal hygiene and cleanliness is paramount to contributing to the restaurant’s professional image.

Responsibilities of the Busser include completing all assigned opening, side, and closing work duties efficiently; setting up and restocking service stations with necessary supplies such as glassware, ice, and bar items before, during, and after service; and promptly clearing and cleaning tables once guests have finished their meals. The role requires returning all dirty dishware, silverware, utensils, glassware, and linens to the dishwashing area in an organized manner. Bussers communicate guests’ requests and needs to the service staff to ensure timely responses and support. Additionally, this position involves general cleaning duties within the dining room as necessary to keep the environment pristine throughout operating hours.

The physical demands of the Busser role are significant, as it involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, squatting, and occasionally lifting items up to 35 pounds frequently over shifts that can last 8 hours or more. Effective communication skills in English are required to interact with guests and team members clearly. This position also requires the ability to work varied shifts, often including afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
