Job Description
Quail Springs Culinary (QSC), founded in 2018 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, is a dynamic restaurant group that encompasses five distinct restaurant concepts operating across nine states. With a total of 78 company-owned and franchised locations, QSC is committed to investing in food concepts that captivate customers with craveable menus and robust leadership teams poised for growth. The company prides itself on cultivating unique cultures and value systems within each brand, fostering success tailored to their respective markets. Each restaurant within the QSC portfolio embodies a dedication to culinary excellence and customer satisfaction, making the group a notable player in the accommodation and food services industry.
The role of a Busser within QSC is an essential position that contributes directly to the guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. Busser team members work diligently behind the scenes, partnering closely with waitstaff, hosts, and kitchen personnel to ensure a seamless flow of service throughout the shift. This position requires someone who is attentive, proactive, and eager to anticipate the needs of both guests and teammates, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency.
As a Busser, you will be primarily responsible for promptly clearing and resetting tables to prepare the dining area for incoming guests. This task includes removing dishes, utensils, and glassware, and resetting tables with fresh linens, silverware, and condiments. Beyond table maintenance, you will support servers by occasionally helping to deliver food and beverages and restocking necessary supplies like napkins and utensils throughout your shift. A critical aspect of your role entails maintaining general cleanliness in dining spaces, including floors, chairs, and service stations, to uphold health and safety standards.
Success in this position depends on effective communication and teamwork skills as you coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to address guest needs promptly and maintain a smooth service environment. Physical stamina is required, as you will be on your feet throughout most shifts, often engaging in manual tasks like lifting trays and moving quickly to meet restaurant demands. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable insight into restaurant operations and advance within the hospitality industry by demonstrating a strong work ethic and eye for detail.
QSC prefers candidates with prior experience in hospitality or food service, a basic understanding of food safety practices, and a customer-oriented mindset. The position welcomes individuals willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the busy cycles typical of dining establishments. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it is not mandatory for applicants demonstrating relevant experience and skills. Embracing this role at QSC means becoming part of a fast-growing culinary group dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences and fostering career development for all team members.
