Job Requirements
- High school diploma or foreign equivalency
- minimum one year previous restaurant experience
- minimum one year experience selling and serving wine and beverages
- intermediate to advanced English communication skills
- training in safety and sanitation regulations
- able to work seven days a week
- able to stand and walk long distances
- able to lift more than 25 pounds
- able to participate in emergency life saving procedures
- able to work in varying temperatures
- able to live in close quarters with others
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year previous restaurant experience in land-based or shipboard operation
- minimum of one year previous experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- intermediate to advanced level English verbal and writing skills
- high school diploma or foreign equivalency
- courses or training in safety, environmental, public health and sanitation regulations
- passionate about hospitality and customer service
- professional appearance and good hygiene
- respect for co-workers and guests
- able to work seven days a week
- demonstrate positive behaviors including smiling, politeness, and courtesy
- ability to develop camaraderie with team members
- ability to live in close quarters and share limited space
Job Duties
- Turning over tables and promoting beverage service in the buffet
- responsible for safeguarding all equipment and materials required for operation
- performing other related duties as assigned
- familiar with safety and environmental protection policy and SEMS
- escorting guests and resetting tables in the main dining rooms
- assisting waiters and maintaining waiter stations
- cleaning the restaurants according to schedules
- setting up crew mess rooms with food and beverage products
- maintaining food line and cleanliness in crew mess
- cleaning and sanitizing food line and beverage machines
- setting up assigned buffet station
- cleaning tables in the buffet
- complying with beverage service sequence
- performing side work such as silverware roll-ups and emptying trash
- manning non-cooking buffet action stations
