Job Requirements
- High school diploma or foreign equivalency
- minimum of one year previous restaurant experience in land-based or shipboard operation
- minimum of one year previous experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- intermediate to advanced level English verbal and writing skills including proper use of English grammar
- courses and/or training in safety, environmental, public health and sanitation regulations and procedures
- passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
- professional appearance and good hygiene
- respect for all co-workers and guests
- pride in work by creating positive energy, excitement and fun
- able to work seven days a week
- demonstrate positive behaviors such as smiling, being polite and courteous

Job Duties
- Turning over tables and promoting beverage service in the buffet to assist with departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues
- safeguarding all equipment and materials required for operation by adhering to proper handling procedures
- performing other related duties as assigned
- familiarizing with Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and SEMS and carrying out policies and procedures appropriate for the position
- escorting guests and/or resetting tables as assigned in main dining rooms
- assisting waiters and assistant waiters with stocking, cleaning and maintaining waiter stations throughout service
- ensuring restaurants are properly cleaned at the end of meal periods according to cleaning schedules
- setting up mess rooms with all food, beverage products, condiments, utensils, china, glassware and silverware prior to each service
- maintaining food line and cleanliness of tables throughout service in crew mess
- cleaning and sanitizing food line, beverage dispensing machines, and restocking china, glassware and silverware at end of service
- setting up assigned buffet station with required equipment and mis-en-place prior to service
- cleaning tables in assigned buffet station throughout service
- complying with sequence of service for timely beverage service in assigned buffet station
- performing side work such as silverware roll-ups, emptying trash, and stocking/cleaning beverage station
- manning non-cooking buffet action stations (e.g., carving station, dessert station) as needed
