Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment helpful but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to work open, mid, and close shifts as required
  • Must have reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Must be able to perform physical activities including walking, talking, hearing, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Food Handler's Card
  • Local government food safety certification where applicable
  • Local government alcohol service certification where applicable
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to guest needs

  • Ability to follow instructions and management direction
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Resets tables according to specifications of restaurant
  • Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished
  • Sets up and breaks down dining room for each shift
  • Maintains service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift
  • Performs all opening and closing side work as required
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time
  • Performs all side duties as assigned
