Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment helpful but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to work open, mid, and close shifts as required
- Must have reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to perform physical activities including walking, talking, hearing, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed
Job Qualifications
- Food Handler's Card
- Local government food safety certification where applicable
- Local government alcohol service certification where applicable
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to respond promptly to guest needs
- Dependability
- Ability to follow instructions and management direction
- Good interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Resets tables according to specifications of restaurant
- Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished
- Sets up and breaks down dining room for each shift
- Maintains service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift
- Performs all opening and closing side work as required
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time
- Performs all side duties as assigned
