Job Qualifications

  • High school education required
  • hospitality or related degrees are a plus
  • previous experience as a busser preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to take constructive feedback and coaching
  • adaptable and flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • commitment to excellent guest service

Job Duties

  • Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
  • respond to questions or direct guests to appropriate sources
  • clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
  • exercise care with all restaurant equipment to minimize breakage
  • maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas, including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors
  • proactively assist other team members or follow manager requests during down times
  • notify management of guest comments, suggestions, or complaints
