Job Qualifications
- High school education required
- hospitality or related degrees are a plus
- previous experience as a busser preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to take constructive feedback and coaching
- adaptable and flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- commitment to excellent guest service
Job Duties
- Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
- respond to questions or direct guests to appropriate sources
- clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
- exercise care with all restaurant equipment to minimize breakage
- maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas, including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors
- proactively assist other team members or follow manager requests during down times
- notify management of guest comments, suggestions, or complaints
