The current opportunity is to become a Front of House Team Member at the King's Hawaiian Restaurant located in Torrance. This role is ideal for part-time candidates who want to join a warm and welcoming team where delivering exceptional customer service is the daily mission. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be part of the companys commitment to providing the "ultimate Aloha Experience" by embodying the values of dignity, excellence, and honest communication. The position offers $16.50 per hour and requires individuals who can work a minimum of four days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime.
In this fast-paced role, team members are entrusted with multiple responsibilities across various front-of-house stations such as cashier, host, expo, curbside, and busser. The role demands a customer-first attitude supported by profound product knowledge, as team members will need to greet guests with the genuine Aloha spirit while proficiently explaining menu items and bakery offerings both in person and over the phone. Mastery of the Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and cash handling is essential to maintaining smooth, accurate transactions. Attention to cleanliness and organization in guest and employee areas is also critical for delivering a safe and pleasant dining experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work a minimum of 4 days per week including Saturday and Sunday availability
- Proficient in English with clear verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
