The Model Bus Runner plays a crucial role at Resorts World Las Vegas within the lounge and bar settings, acting as the backbone in a quick and fast-paced environment. This position supports both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams by ensuring that service runs smoothly and guests receive prompt and professional attention. The role involves greeting and welcoming guests, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of tables, assisting servers by delivering food and beverages, restocking supplies, and responding efficiently to guest inquiries and requests. The Model Bus Runner must uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation to create a welcoming environment aligning with the Resort's core values and department standards. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least six months customer service experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain position-specific licensing
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, reaching, lifting and maneuvering items up to 25 lbs
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job descriptions, and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Previous food and beverage experience (preferred)
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting (preferred)
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner
- Maintain table cleanliness by removing finished courses and replenishing cutlery, when needed
- Assist in the delivery of food and beverage to support Server
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Restock all required supplies and prepare venue table settings
- Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized work area
- Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
