The Canopy San Antonio location, part of this prestigious hospitality group, is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Busperson to join their team. The Busperson plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming dining environment within the restaurant while supporting the broader front-of-house team. The Busperson’s responsibilities are diverse and include cleaning and setting tables to ensure a smooth dining flow, assisting servers, and anticipating guest needs to deliver exemplary hospitality. They will work closely with servers to help with clearing tables, marking them, and delivering beverages, all while upholding a high standard of professionalism and friendliness. The role also involves learning to operate the Host Stand, becoming knowledgeable about menu items and preparation methods so that they can accurately answer guest inquiries. This position is essential in facilitating excellent customer service, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and reflecting the establishment’s brand values through impeccable personal appearance and conduct.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role beneficial but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Ensure that all tables are clean and properly set
- Assist the Food Runner when necessary
- Work closely with servers maintaining excellent communication
- Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
- Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality
- Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
- Learn to operate the Host Stand
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, preparation methods, and garnishes
- Accurately answer guest questions
- Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
- Process all payment methods
- Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
