Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in a sales role in the bakery category
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proven track record of being a dynamic 'hunter'
  • Able to manage small team, set goals, and track progress
  • Experience calling on distributor and grocery chain headquarter calls preferred

Job Duties

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts
  • Participates in a joint strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Manage all facets of the day to day account responsibilities
  • Manage the broker network by utilizing budgets and expectations
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
